This is a wonderful vintage figural love birds brooch.
It is signed 'S' inside a star, for Fred Gray, (1920-1940). It is comprised of silver tone pot metal & enameled in beautiful blue, green & brown. It is enhanced with clear pave set rhinestones on both the birds wings & each bird has one bright red rhinestone invisibly set for the eyes.
It measures 2 3/4 inches tall & 2 1/2 inches wide.
It is in fair yet wearable condition with some of the enameling showing wear & one of the clear rhinestones missing. Also some of the other clear rhinestones are cloudy or dead. |
